This week we’re pleased to introduce you to one of our favourite #WestEnders, Brian Paxton. Brian is the Retail Manager of the The Aga Shop in Edinburgh and Perth. AGA Edinburgh is celebrating its 1st anniversary at Drumsheugh Place tomorrow and would like to invite you to join in on the celebration. They are having an open day so drop by to enjoy delicious food made from a beautiful AGA while sipping a bit of wine and nibbling on cake.
Brian told us what he thinks makes AGA unique, “cooking on an AGA is just a relevant today as it was 90 years ago. We use radiant heat from 5 cast iron sources to roast, bake or slow cook food. Radiant heat locks in moisture and flavour so carrots taste like carrots and sausages come out the same size they went in.”
Did you know that the AGA shop has cooking demonstrations? Brian notes that “new owners love the experience and being in the company of people in the same position – enjoying learning new techniques and experimenting with a British icon.”
“AGA moved to the West End to be part of the community that exists here. There are a lot of synergies with bespoke products, personalised service and great experiences that customers look for, especially in what is a challenging climate at the moment. We hope that our customers will enjoy the experience of spending time at our showroom and then enjoying the other shopping experiences available in the West End.”
