Teuchters Bar is a freehouse on William Street well known as a venue for rugby fans travelling to and from Murrayfield. The pub has been in business for 16 years and in that time has been one of Edinburgh’s leading whisky bars.
The bar itself is centred round the large whisky selection which includes around 90 single malts, 20-odd international or blended whiskies and the famous Hoop of Destiny: a game of hoopla with a dram as the prize, pop in for full details!
Teuchters also has a great choice of predominantly Scottish beers including draught cask and keg maintained to a high standard as well as bottles from brewers such as Williams Brothers and Innis & Gunn. There are also lots of wines, soft drinks, gins, rums and much more.
Food is served 7 days a week from 10.30am until 10pm. The menu includes breakfast until 12.30pm as well as burgers, pies, deli boards and The Mug Menu: classic Scottish dishes like Cullen Skink & haggis and neeps & tatties served in mugs.
